Who we are
Mentoring Europe is an umbrella organisation with an international and national B2B network, working for mentoring programmes and researchers in Europe. We are a Mentoring Community linking mentoring practitioners and researchers to share knowledge, resources, and powerful stories within Europe. We aim to improve mentoring practices in Europe and to support the development of the European Civil Society. Mentoring Europe is building the European mentoring field for a more inclusive European society.
Internship activities
Your activities can vary, based on these areas:
- Organising and joining events such as masterclasses, workshops, webinars, conferences, and summits.
- Build networks with policy and decision-makers at Dutch institutions to raise awareness and promote the potential of mentoring.
- Supporting the maintenance of the (inter)national B2B network and membership system.
Boost our marketing & communications through our multiple community engagement platforms and tools. - Developing workshops with students to connect them to role models and mentors.
Collaborating with mentoring researchers for the development of high-quality practices.
Whom are we looking for
Are you proactive, curious and highly collaborative? Mentoring Europe works with mentoring organisations and our communications refer to the mentoring world and people who want to explore the mentoring field. Any previous experience in project management, marketing & communications, IT, research, and graphic design will be a big plus.
However, we would like you to:
- Be currently studying in a higher education programme (any year of study) related to Social work, Leisure and Events, Public Administration, HR, European Studies, Communication, IBMS, or any other related fields.
- Be enrolled as a full-time student for the entire duration of the internship.
- Be curious about new topics and eager to develop new skills while engaging with challenging tasks.
- Have excellent written and spoken communication in English.
- Be able to work independently, set and follow your own work schedule, yet be a proficient team-worker.
- Have strong interpersonal skills.
